About Elizabeth

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Wingard and I have a passion for helping people lead a healthy life.  I graduated from Clemson University in 1995 with a BA in Early Childhood education.  After graduation, I taught elementary school for 7 years.  

The next chapter of my life began when I had my first daughter and decided to be a stay-at-home mom.  I became a certified group fitness instructor first in Greenwood, SC and now in Greenville, SC.  I have been in the health industry since 1997.  Right now, I teach cycle, barre pilates, yoga, and weight training classes at HUB fitness in Travelers Rest.   In addition, I have led running groups for runners of all abilities.  I am also an avid runner.  I have completed eight marathons, including the Boston marathon in 2012 and countless half marathons and shorter races.

Through the years, I began experimenting with nutrition.  I found that simple changes in diet can lead to increased energy, weight loss, improved sleep, increased mental clarity, better athletic performance, and greater overall joy in your life.  This discovery sparked an interest in learning all that I could learn about nutrition, cooking, and general wellness. My passion went to the next level when I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world's largest nutrition school where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods.

Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.  I am a Board Certified Holistic Health Coach, a member of the American Academy of Drugless Practitioners and a Certified Group Exercise Instructor.  I am also a regular contributor to PACE magazine, a running magazine for South Carolina.

I am a busy mother of three girls and I know the challenges of finding simple nutritious meals for the whole family.  I currently reside in Travelers Rest, SC with my husband, three daughters, my big dog, Duke and my cat, Sarah.
